Terms of Service

Effective: October 6, 2026

These terms govern the use of Banto GK's ("we") AI assistant Banto, the banto.me customer dashboard, and the websites we build and operate (together, "the Service"). By using the Service, you agree to these terms. This English version is a translation; if it differs from the Japanese version, the Japanese version prevails.

1. Accounts and members

  1. The Service is provided per business account. The person who creates a business is its owner and can invite members and manage their permissions.
  2. You are responsible for keeping your sign-in methods, such as your LINE account, secure, and for requests and actions made through your account.
  3. Keep your registered details up to date.

2. Fees and payment

  1. Monthly plan and token top-up prices are shown, including consumption tax, on the pricing page. Individually quoted plans follow their quote.
  2. Payment is by credit card through our payment provider, Stripe.
  3. A monthly plan starts at the first payment and renews automatically every month. Each renewal is charged on the renewal date.
  4. Banto tokens included in a monthly plan expire at the end of that billing period and do not roll over. Purchased top-up tokens do not expire.
  5. An upgrade takes effect once you pay the amount shown when you change plans. A downgrade takes effect from the next renewal date.

3. Cancellation

You can cancel a monthly plan at any time from the banto.me dashboard. Cancellation takes effect at the next renewal date, and you can keep using the Service until then.

4. Refunds

Fees paid are not refunded, including for cancellation mid-period or unused tokens. Purchased top-up tokens are not refundable. This does not apply where a refund is due to our fault or required by law.

5. Websites

  1. You keep the rights to the text, images and other content you provide. We use them as needed to provide the Service.
  2. When a monthly plan ends, we may stop publishing the website and stop Banto. If you ask within 30 days after it ends, we will give you a copy of the website's data.
  3. Domain registration and renewal, and custom design or development not included in a plan, are quoted separately.

6. AI responses

Banto uses AI and may give incomplete or inaccurate answers. Check important information against the original email, event or file. Banto is not a substitute for legal, medical, tax, financial or other professional advice.

7. Google connection

Connecting Google is optional. Banto only reads, within the services and permissions you choose, when you ask. You can disconnect at any time. Google's services are governed by Google's terms.

8. Prohibited conduct

You must not break the law, access other customers' data without authorization, bypass security controls, disrupt the Service, or infringe others' rights.

9. Changes and suspension

We may change or suspend all or part of the Service for maintenance, security, legal compliance or other reasons. Third-party services such as LINE, Google, Cloudflare and AI providers can affect the Service. We may suspend an account that breaches these terms.

10. Disclaimers and limitation of liability

We do not guarantee that the Service will be uninterrupted or error-free. Except in cases of our intent or gross negligence, our liability is limited to the total fees you paid us in the 12 months before the damage occurred. Liability that cannot be limited by law is not affected.

11. Personal information

We handle personal information under our Privacy Policy.

12. Changes to these terms

We may change these terms. We will announce significant changes on this page or in the dashboard before they take effect.

13. Governing law and jurisdiction

These terms are governed by Japanese law. The Kyoto District Court has exclusive jurisdiction in the first instance over disputes about the Service.
